Emo hairstyles can be sported by women as well as men. It is basically all about showing off your emotions, creativity and individualism. People express their personality through emo hairstyles.

There are no particular set rules for emo hairstyles sported by men. Bangs are generally preferred. They color the hair black and have streaks of some vibrant colors in them and keep long bangs on any one side of the face that is almost covered by the hair.
Men who sport emo hair are generally more often than not shy but looking at them might give you an altogether different perception. They could have some piercing on their lips.
